Backstory
Fusei father, Lunil Calvaestyr, as a respected historian meant her family lived comfortably in Windell, away from most struggles. Since a young age, her father and mother, Feiwyr Calvaestyr, a natural storyteller, would often indulge her with the most monumental of history and wondrous of legend. Instilling a fondness of both ends of the spectrum of literary art. Though fiction is her first love. At a later age, Fusei follows in her father's career path in education, later applying for apprenticeship at the archives which her father works. However, fiction is still her first love and she is yet to finish a draft.
It was awhile until most of the Archive recognized the Fading as it happened. Lunil Calvaestyr was one of the first to record the Fading. Fusei knew her father among others were sent on field work despite being unrelated to their specialization, but it was only until after the House Windmere disappeared when the full picture was revealed to the fledgling archivists.
The Archive didn't migrate to Umbria until more of a foundation was established. Most texts were left behind, hoping nothing may touch those papers. Of the first archivers were a handful of lead historians to record the new development, Lunil Calvaestyr was one of them. Naturally their families followed closely.
