Nihara was a bold elf, who loved discovering new plants in the forest. She wished to become an apothecary..but she came from a humble background. Her family originated in the Canopy district, living among the other woodland elves. There was only a small margin of things she could do. Being a Woodland elf, meant she was in service of the Heartwood, being a scout. Life was peaceful...boring, but peaceful. Nihara had known the same forest, and the same animals, and the same life for such a long time. Wake up, walk the forest grounds till dusk, go home, eat, sleep. And rinse and repeat. Woodland elves valued patience, but Nihara couldn't take it anymore, she didn't have the capacity for patience. There was a whole world out there, and she hadn't seen it. So she decided one night that it was time to leave. She packed a bag, stuffed with clothes and food. Creeping out of her home she grabbed her hunting knife and bow before exiting the house. There was no one in the house, apart from her bunk mate who rarely talked to her or even cared about her, so she had nothing to worry about people missing her in the morning. She crept through the commune, down to the forest floor. She had no horse, so she took off at a sprint, till she cleared the forest.


And then, she was free.
