Kijani is a proud Yakuma, having been raised by his parents in a more closed off tribe, Kijani was raised to be good with his hands. Through spending most of his days with his father, there was a special admiration he had for the blood that personally seen to his growth into a man. His father taught him how to hunt and cultivate the right kind of land, leaving the responsibility of building needed structures and the maintenance work needed to keep up with homesteads constructed of mud. Despite being twenty, Kijani has never felt the need to explore the lands of Uros to the degree of a few of his tribesmen that he grew up around.

Leading up to his twentieth birthday, the entire tribe was rationing their food supply with a hunting party being planned to fix this problem. With a home that he could return to at any time, shortly after his twentieth birthday both his mother and father urged for him to explore the lands and to break away from their closed off tribe instead of joining the hunting party.. Promising him that they will be here for when it was time for him to return. Perhaps his parents seen the hidden desire within the young man to learn about the lands, and the specific reasons why the Yakuma people as a whole tend to remain secluded.. Or, perhaps for the time being there was too many mouths to feed-.. And the two parents had complete faith in their son to branch away and take full care of himself.
